When I read the wikipedia entry on "net neutrality" and one thing that appeared not so obvious to me is the negative affect that net neutrality has to offer. It seemed like there were only pros to the issue and nothing saying anything about the negative impact it might have on society.
I also looked up "Internet Traffic" on wikipedia, which showed a lot of numbers from past years of internet activity as well as the predicted activity for the next two years. Since 1994 petabytes per month has gone from .02 to 30,864.50 which is a tremendous increase since the internet has begun. In two years it is estimated to increase over 25,000 more! This statistic makes the net neutrality issue make more sense in the way that there is more money in the business that is constantly on the rise.
After looking at European internet articles, there seems to be an issue with cyber spam and a need for regulation and a sense of security for those who are accessing the internet.

By using the omnifile database, I searched "net neutrality" then within that search I searched "Europe" then I narrowed it down to full texts so that I could easily see what each article had for input on the Internet in Europe.
